#7731: Sound in Dell Lattitude D430 ---------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: DFergATL | Owner: nobody Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Audio & Video | Version: R1/alpha3 Keywords: No Audio | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: All | ---------------------------+------------------------- I am having an issue with getting sound from this laptop. If I look in the "Media" prefs it shows there as "HD Audio" Listed as both "Audio Imput" and "Audio Output" with Channel set to "ouptup 0" Output Frequency; is at "9600 Hz", looks like the driver is loaded. When I play an audio file or video file I get the "bouncing bars" indicating audio playing. but, nothing comes out of the speakers or the headphone jack. I have tested using an other OS and both the speaker and headphone jack work. I have been trying to find more info about this specific chip but can't seem to find it. What can I do? -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/7731> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
