#7452: intel pro100 not recognized by haiku --------------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: Jack Perry | Owner: nobody Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Network & Internet | Version: R1/alpha2 Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: x86 | --------------------------------+------------------------- Hiho I have an HP Pavilion 7965 that I'd like to try running Haiku on. It boots up fine and many programs work great. However, the network doesn't work at all. With lspci --vvnn, Linux reports {{{ 02:08.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation 82801BA/BAM/CA/CAM Ethernet Controller [8086:2449] (rev 03) Subsystem: Intel Corporation EtherExpress PRO/100 VE [8086:3013] Control: I/O+ Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV+ VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- DisINTx- Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B+ ParErr- DEVSEL=medium >TAbort- SERR- Kernel driver in use: e100 Kernel modules: e100 }}} But Haiku's Network Preferences app (system->preferences->network) doesn't seem to recognize it at all. I'm happy to give more information, but I'm completely new to Haiku and don't know what to do. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/7452> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
