#7261: Socket Error when using Via Rhine driver. --------------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: Masq666 | Owner: nobody Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Network & Internet | Version: R1/alpha2 Keywords: via rhine | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: All | --------------------------------+------------------------- Hmm, seems to be a bug in the via rhine network driver(probably), been testing the Hiawatha web server, and when running it on a machine that uses that driver, Hiawatha just gives me 500 internal server errors, error log shows "socket error". I've tested on 2 different machines and VM and also 2 different Haiku revisions (40357 & 40551), that error only happens on the machine with the via rhine driver in use. Compiled Hiawatha 7.4 as follows. autoreconf -vif sh ./configure --disable-ssl --disable-xslt --disable-monitor --prefix=/boot/home/hiawatha make && make install As i say'd Hiawatha works just fine in Haiku when on a machine that does not use the Via Rhine driver. I first thought this was a Hiawatha related problem so i asked on the hiawatha forum, can see thread here: http://www.hiawatha- webserver.org/forum/topic/768 -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/7261> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
