I am doing this on a freshly built image. Note that the mail_daemon does
not run on a fresh image, that's why I enabled the "Start mail services on
startup" settings first. After changing each setting, I pressed the Apply
button. Maybe the bug can only be reproduced with a partial mail download
limit of greater than 0 KiB.
