Comment (by nielx):

I was already aware of it, but being on vacation did not have the proper
 time to look into it.

The plugins are not overridden, so the chances are that perhaps the layout
changed, which invalidated some of the jQuery selectors that perform the
splitting of the component line. The overriding does work well on the 'New
Ticket' page, so it is in that sense a change in the query.html template.

The revision history for that file shows the following change:

http://trac.edgewall.org/changeset?reponame=&new=9958%40branches%2F0.12-stable%2Ftrac%2Fticket%2Ftemplates%2Fquery.html&old=9938%40branches%2F0.12-stable%2Ftrac%2Fticket%2Ftemplates%2Fquery.html

Furthermore, the bug does not happen when the component is [http://dev
 .haiku-os.org/query?owner=nielx&status=assigned&status=in-
 progress&status=new&status=reopened&component=^Add-

Ons%2FTranslators%2FEXR&col=id&col=summary&col=status&col=type&col=priority&col=milestone&col=component&order=priority
already in the query]. Only the code that adds it seems to fail.

So the bug is in the Javascript that hooks into those events.

I have to go and enjoy the holiday now. Cool if you are able to fix it,
else I will try to later!
