 Winamp's ''Jump to file'' is a real killer feature!

 The way it works is that you can filter the playlist by activating the
 Jump to file dialog (either thru the menu or the excellent shortcut
 ''j''). The dialog displays all files that is in the playlist and when you
 enter a search string, the playlist is filtered. For example, I can enter
 an artist, word of a song etc. When I find what I was searching for, I can
 choose to play that song/video or have it queued.

 In its simplest form, the playlist window could have a small search box
 that filters the playlist. I would prefer that over a dialog.
