 I am sorry, but you have really no idea what you are talking about. First
 of all DriveSetup is absolutely not bloated for what it does (please point
 out the bloat, if you didn't just say that on a whim). Second, Haiku
 contains an integrated disk device API, and add-ons implementing its
 functionality, many of which are also the file system modules which expose
 funtionality for the disk device API. It's all very clean and neatly
 integrated. What you propose is utter nonsense just to fix one small
 problem.
