#6452: [DriveSetup] Currupts MBR on some disks over 250GB. --------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: davidsaunders | Owner: stippi Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/DriveSetup | Version: R1/alpha2 Resolution: | Keywords: MBR SATA Blocked By: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: x86 | Blocking: --------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Comment (by stippi): I am sorry, but you have really no idea what you are talking about. First of all DriveSetup is absolutely not bloated for what it does (please point out the bloat, if you didn't just say that on a whim). Second, Haiku contains an integrated disk device API, and add-ons implementing its functionality, many of which are also the file system modules which expose funtionality for the disk device API. It's all very clean and neatly integrated. What you propose is utter nonsense just to fix one small problem. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/6452#comment:6> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
