Comment (by Karvjorm):

 I will get my null modem cable tomorrow, I hope. But after testing boot
 menu I was able to get syslog to screen and copied some hundred lines with
 my touch typing (and editor of the other box). I was wondering the line:

 {{{
 usb uhci: AddTo(): found with invalid IRQ - check IRQ assignement
 }}}
 This is a Win98 generation computer that knows only USB 1.0. I have not
 any USB devices attached to my box just now, so this error message refers
 maybe to missing support to old Intel Chipset, or?
