 No problem, since other things don't work it might be IRQ-routing bug #5.
 If you have linux you can mount the Haiku partition read-only by using
 'mount -t befs /dev/[some partition] [mountpoint]'.

 What happens when you don't disable it? Do you get a white text screen? If
 you could take a photo of that and a photo after entering the 'bt' command
 (backtrace).

 Thanks for reporting. Please try extract the info if you can. It means a
 lot to be able to track it down.
