From this thread I was told to create a ticket for this issue
 http://www.haiku-os.org/community/forum/acer_extensa_54205687

I was able to get my Acer Extensa 5420 to boot and install Hakiu. However
for it to boot I have to boot checking off both "Safe Mode" and "Disable
ACPI" I am not sure what using the "safe mode" disables but I don't have
network or usb when i boot in this mode.

I have attatched what I could based on the instructions mentioned
previously. I do not know how to go about doing some of the steps and I
could not find the /var..... log path. I am more then willing to learn a
new trick or two. So, if you need something. Just give me instructions
on how and I will do my best.
