#5949: KDL: Could not read block 18110: bytesRead: -1, error: Operation timed out -----------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: stippi | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: System/Kernel | Version: R1/Development Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: All -----------------------------+---------------------------- Comment (by DziadekAlzheimer): Hi, I experienced similar error today when I tried to copy files to USB stick with BFS partition. I run Haiku hrev... in VirtualBox in Windows 7 64-bit. VM has 1536MBs of RAM and 2 CPU cores. Below is KDL output, but '''please look at the serial.txt''' file as it contains much more valuable information what was going before! The error shown here is "Device not ready", however previously I got "Operation timed out" as well. I can reproduce bug, so I am able to provide more info, or even send VM snapshot if desired. {{{ PANIC: could not read block 3145815: bytesRead: -1, error: Device not ready Welcome to Kernel Debugging Land...
