I've attached a patch that ports one of the many SBx00 quirk workarounds
from NetBSD/linux. It's difficult to tell whether or not it applies to the
devices at hand or not as there's like absolutely no documentation for
these bugs and therefore it's not so easy to judge what's going on at all.
If anyone with one of those super-broken SBx00 chipsets could apply and
report back that'd be helpful.
