Comment(by damoklas):

 *for BeOS if you assign the appropriate keymap file type, and appoint for
 apps Application flag "Multiple launch" you can click on the file to open
 it in the keymap preflet. At Haiku can too, but at least preflet and
 starts but the keymap does not show.
