Comment (by diver):

 Seems like bootloader on the CD finds and selects BFS partition from USB
 and proceeds to boot from it. I beleve there is already a ticket with same
 symptom, can't find it, though. [[BR]]
 So both media_server and net_server freezes your computer, right?
 Could you attach output of listdev command?
