#4087: Building ZooLib ButtonMessage sample crashes Haiku when run under VirtualBox -----------------------------+---------------------------------------------- Reporter: MichaelCrawford | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: - General | Version: R1/pre-alpha1 Keywords: | Blockedby: Platform: All | Blocking: -----------------------------+---------------------------------------------- Comment(by MichaelCrawford): The bug seems to be fixed for me with the r34248 GCC4 Hybrid and VirtualBox 3.0.8. The ButtonMessage sample build completed, and the built program ran correctly with 512 MB and 256 MB of memory. With 128 MB the compiler ran out of memory, but it did the right thing by printing a diagnostic then aborting. I haven't tried enabling virtual memory. There's not a lot of free space on the nightly image files. If you'd like me to try it with VM, I could copy the install over to a larger disk image. Good Work! I can't imagine how this one had to be tracked down. This will make all my ZooLib work a lot more pleasant. :-D -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/4087#comment:17> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
