#3794: HDA driver detects onboard chip but produces no sound --------------------------------+----------------------------- Reporter: adamk | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Drivers/Audio/HDA | Version: R1/pre-alpha1 Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: All | Blocking: --------------------------------+----------------------------- Comment (by adamk): I know that FreeBSD lets you change various device driver options for snd_hda via devices.hints: http://miroirs.cesars.org/man/pages/FreeBSD-8-current/man/man4/snd_hda.4.txt I believe the same is true for Linux, via module parameters. Though I've never had to adjust them on either of those platforms, is there a way to play with those options on Haiku? Perhaps that's all I need to do. I'm going to attach the verbose kernel output from freebsd as it pertains to hdac and pcm.
