#2337: After the recent vesa changes haiku hangs at boot -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Reporter: ddew | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: reopened Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Drivers/Graphics | Version: R1/Development Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: x86 | Blocking: -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Comment (by diver): I've just tested this binary using r38978 in VirtualBox and it works as expected. Did you try to boot '''without''' using any options from the bootloader? The difference is disabled vesa_set_display_mode loop. No, you don't need to replace vesa kernel file as it just enables additional tracing you don't need. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/2337#comment:21> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
