 Thank you. It indeed has the info I was looking for. I am thinking that
 the regression might actually be progress: since the DPLL programming now
 works, it might be this uncovered actually another problem in the driver
 that now makes your system not work OK.

 While working more on digital connections I discovered 2 type errors in
 the codebase today which I fixed in git in hrev55125. Could you please
 upgrade to that one and see if that changes the driver's behaviour and
 describe the change (if there) to me?
