 Plenty of users and developers (myself included) boot Haiku exclusively
 via EFI without issues, so this is almost certainly a recent regression
 related to the addition of LA57 paging support. If korli does not come up
 with a fix soon, we can revert the patches until he does.

 In the meantime, can you try with R1/beta2, which does not have those
 patches, and thus should not have these problems?
