registrar is not a very large program, splitting it up so that it can run
as multiple processes will not be that much work.
I am still not sure why you are arguing so strongly against my proposal
here. Perhaps it is more work to refactor things in this way (though I
seriously doubt it; making all servers properly multi-user compliant is
almost certainly far more work), but I think it is the better solution.
