I also hit this, in Wikipedia, e.g.
[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_brightest_stars]. With the default
Noto fonts, al the negative magnitudes are garbled. Changing the Sans
Serif font to Bitstream Charter clears up the text. Never saw this in
earlier revisions. Trying fontdemo, I don't see the problem mentioned in
#16213.
