OK, quick update on this ticket... I can't test it any further at this
time because the MacBook's screen backlight fuse (on the main logic board)
has apparently failed, and I still have yet to get it repaired; it's the
kind of repair that'd have to be done professionally. I will test again
with the latest hrev as soon as I have the machine back up and running,
but that might take a while longer.
