Finally finished other chores, got time to look into this bug this week.
I now have a dev VM set up nicely so I can build Haiku and then test with
serial output for when it fails to boot. But yes, a post-install script
could help, except that post-install is broken for running after a fresh
install (there's a function to run the jobs, but it's never called).
