The crash happens in SDL_SetColors which does not look like it is MIDI
related.
Does the game bundle its own version of libSDL? If so, is it possible to
replace it with links to the current version?
It could be a bug in libSDL that was already fixed since then.
Also, Exult is open source (http://exult.sourceforge.net/) so possibly we
could just re-port it and see if that is enough to fix the problems?
