Comment (by AGMS):

 Still there in R1Beta2 test (hrev54154+31).  Lots of timeout errors.  Then
 when I removed my Promise Ultra ATA 66 hard drive adapter card, Haiku
 works!  Sound (emu10K), networking (Intel dual Gigabit!), everything.
 Installation and booting from hard drive works too.  But then when I put
 back the controller card, it's back to infinite timeouts non-booting mode.
