A second issue is that the serial debug log cannot be opened with
StyledEdit (blank page).
Opening with Pe brings up the following error message:
"An error occurred when checking the document's UTF-8 encoding. The first
problematic character is highlighted. Please use the "File options"-dialog
to select the correct source encoding."
I can create a second ticket if this is deemed an unrelated issue.
