I did a little investigation to see where the issue was first introduced.
hrev50085 works, hrev50097 does not work
What I found is that libwebp5 0.4.4-1 and icu54 54.1-2 are both missing
from the 64 bit boot image starting with hrev50097. So, anybody updating
from an earlier install would never notice that there was a problem. Only
fresh installs would be affected.
