The only thing changed with r49401 is the `BNetworkAddressResolver`
backend -- IOW the error (maybe just now revealed) has something to do
with that, as it used to work just fine before.
BTW we do have unit tests at least for `BNetworkAddress`. Please, before
you do anything else, enhance those tests to reproduce the bug you are
experiencing.
