I am seeing this in 48418 as well. I talked to some of the other devs,
and apparently nobody else could reproduce it (or else didn't try). For
me, I could never get YouTube to load (unless it was a URL more than
youtube.com) but could get some pages to load in various tabs at various
times. Like you, I could load pages fine in QupZilla, and I could ping
just fine as well 100% of the time.
