Except that wouldn't really be correct, as what's in the file wouldn't
necessarily match what's currently active in app_server. Bear in mind,
it's not the appearance preflet that controls that file, app_server does.
Appearance just tells app_server to change colors when you make selections
in it, it doesn't in any way touch that file itself.
