#10633: Boot failure - could not mount packagefs -----------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: fishpond | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: System/Kernel | Version: R1/Development Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: All -----------------------------+---------------------------- Changes (by anevilyak): * owner: nobody => axeld * component: - General => System/Kernel Comment: Two things would be of interest: 1) a picture of the KDL screen in question, and 2) if you're able to reboot from the KDL prompt, entering the boot loader on the subsequent boot should allow you to view the previous (failed) boot's in-memory syslog, and also save it to a fat32 formatted USB stick if you have one available/inserted. If that can be acquired, attaching it to this ticket would be a starting point. Assigning to system/kernel until a better candidate can be found. -- Ticket URL: <https://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/10633#comment:1> Haiku <https://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
