hrev46947 and hrev46999 address some oversights that might have quite
noticeable impact on the performance (namely, the problem with leaving one
core unoccupied). I did quick UnixBench run to verify that there is no
regression anywhere but I have not done any proper compile performance
tests yet. There is still the other potential problem I mentioned in a
previous post.
