brand doesn't matter. The driver should dynamically adjust how it
operates if the vendor makes adjustments due to AtomBIOS
You're seeing the same issue my DisplayPort devices are seeing:

over the DP aux data channel meaning we can't get edid data. I'm going
to reach out to AMD to see if they have any ideas this afternoon.
