#10249: Haiku built from Haiku doesn't boot without disabling SMP or NX-bit -----------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: pulkomandy | Owner: bonefish Type: bug | Status: assigned Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: System/Kernel | Version: R1/Development Resolution: | Keywords: vm Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: All -----------------------------+---------------------------- Changes (by bonefish): * owner: nobody => bonefish * keywords: => vm * status: reopened => assigned * component: - General => System/Kernel Comment: @luroh: I'm a bit surprised that you have to `co` twice. Could you provide a syslog of the continued KDL? @pulkomandy: I'm afraid, we do indeed need the kernel tracing to track this further. `SCHEDULER_TRACING` would be helpful as well, as I think this may be some kind of TLB invalidation issue in a situation where the thread is scheduled to another CPU after mapping the memory. `MAX_TRACE_SIZE` doesn't need to be that big. I guess 100 MiB should suffice. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/10249#comment:30> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
