Haiku currently doesn't perform any kind of checking for IP address
collision.
When an IP address collision occurs, you generally receive an errors such
as:

KERN: ARP xxxxxx updated with different hardware address
00:00:00:00:00:00.
}}}
RFC5227 documents some steps operating systems can take to minimize this
issue. We could request a different dhcp lease if something like this
occurs on a dhcp network.
