There is a port of SDL 1.2 available for Haiku, but from what I hear, it has some issues. It probably depends on what API a particular game is using exactly and reflects in how well, or if at all, the game runs on this port. The actual "porting" would just mean to compile the game on Haiku, assuming it sticks to the SDL API only.

There is also an ongoing effort to port SDL 1.3 to Haiku in Google Summer of Code.

Am I understanding your email correctly in that you are searching for someone to compile/port the game on/to Haiku?
