I don't think the package is at fault here as it does install fine.
Adding the replicant to the Deskbar's tray isn't part of the
installation process, but triggered by Voptop when it's launched, if
I'm not mistaken.
Adding it by hand via "desklink application/x-vnd.voptopbeta132" does
work, though crashes the Deskbar when quitting the Deskbar, see [1].
