Hello all - I wanted to share that we just opened up registration for teams
for the 2018 DataCon data modeling competition. We've got sponsorship from
LMI so student teams can win up to $3,500 in prizes along with a chance to
present at the conference. I'm thinking we'll have some competition from
GMU, UVA, and American but I'm confident GW students will come out on top!
To help ensure that's the case, please spread the word to your students,

Also, the general conference registration is only $35 for students and $79
for academia, so I hope you all can attend. It should be pretty fun and
attendance has the added benefit of helping to promote the data ecosystem
