Thanks Jerry. http://www.readingmadeez.com/ was the place to go.

I'll try out that utility. I already have it on my system and know how it works.

Thanks for the great help.

Bob

Hi Bob,
Try http://www.readingmadeeasy.com. That has long been Premier
Programming's alternative domain name, and I just visited it successfully.

As well, if Scan-And-Read is a program that was installed using a Windows
Installer-based installation script, you should be able to remove its
installation info using Microsoft's "Windows Install Clean-up" utility.
Look at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 for information and an
opportunity to download the program. This will not remove the individual
files making up Scan-and-Read, but, assuming Premier Programming used a
Windows Installer-style installation system, it should let you get the
entry out of the list of installed programs in Control Panel and hopefully
put things back so that you can re-install the program if you wish. If
you just want to get rid of the program, you'll have to delete the files
manually after removing the installation stuff.

Hope this helps,
Jerry

[guispeak] what happened to scan-nread?

I'm trying to find info on Scan-n-read. I need to remove it from my
system
but the install.log is missing so windows won't uninstall it.

These are the same people who make Text Cloner.

The shortcuts I have don't work now and I can't find them with google.

http://www.premier-programming.com

Anyone have tips for removing something like this?

Thanks.

Bob
