You must have a setting wrong or a corruption somewhere, though for the life of me, I cannot begin to guess what it might be. Word 2003 definitely DOES allow this. Perhaps it would be worth re-installing Word. So, when I want to write such letters I paste them from Notepad to Ms Word. My inquiry is why this happened. Am I missing something in the MS word settings? I have no clue. Though I cannot save Unicode in notepad. Any clarification is greatly appreciated Khalid This Message has been scanned for viruses by McAfee Groupshield.
