Hi,

I did that already and I didn't see it in there.

No, it relates to VOLUME.

For Microphone, you need to look at Control Panel, and then
"Sound".

What you then see under "Sound" is then dependent on your
installed sound card.

For example, I have a SoundBlaster Audigy. So when I call
up this dialog, I have a "Recording" tab. This then has a
"Microphone" option listed. Click on that, and I have a
dialog with four more tabs, one of which includes a "Levels"
slider control.

George.

george, would this mute button apply to the Mike?

Nope. I have an icon in my System Tray that looks like a
loudspeaker.

When I click on it, it shows a vertical volume control
slider. Underneath that is another loudspeaker icon, and
when I hover my mouse pointer over it, up pops a balloon
that says "Mute".

It sounds like your version of Window Eyes is not giving you
this feed back.

Suggest you call GW Micro's technical support people.

Hi,

All I see in the volume control that in the systray is
mixer. I used the
window-eyes mouse keys and that's all I saw in there also.
You're talking
about the microphone right?

On my Vista Ultimate, the Volume Control is sitting in the
System Tray. When I call it up, there is a "Mute" icon.

It may simply be that your current screen reader is not
picking this up.

Vista

Hi,

Could someone that's using windows Vista tell me where do I
go to unmute the
microphone check box in windows Vista? I looked in sounds
and in the volume
control and could find anything. Also do anyone no if
there's a version of
skype that works with windows Vista?

Thanks,
