Hi Garnet,

I use a anti-Trojan programme called 'The Cleaner', available from www.moosoft.com,and though it is not entirely blind-friendly find that I can, in the main, get it to do what I want. I use both Window-Eyes 5.5 Beta 2 and Jaws for Windows 5.10 and find they perform very similarly when using this programme.

It is available as a 30-day trial and then has to be purchased.

As I say it is not entirely ideal but is, to date, the most effective anti-Trojan programme I have used.

Another resource that might yield a solution is www.nonags.com I know I have seen anti-virus software on that site and think it likely you would also find anti-Trojan applications there.

Hope this is of some use!

Hello Jerry.
I am using the freedom anti virus program that is on my cable company service.Thank you and all who have answered my message.
My virus program as of now does not take care of this problem and that is why I was looking for a web site friendly to jaws.

Thanks again.

Hi Garnett,
Can you visit the web site of your antivirus program's vender? I had a look
at Symantec's site and found some information listed there about this
particular trojan. They did indicate that one of its effects was to
disable certain antivirus software, but they did make it sound like it's
removable. I don't know what virus detector/remover you're using, so I
can't give you any more specific info. This sounds like a nasty trojan
that tries to steal passwords. It would be good to get rid of.

Regards,
Jerry

Hello Everyone. I am not sure ifthis is the place to ask this question, but here goes. I seem to have a file in the computer called backdoor.delf.is and my virus program will not delete it. Can some one tell me if there is a jaws friendly site to scan and delete this trojan. Thank You,

Garnett Parsons
