Subject: [guispeak] Problem Removing Avast
I decided to put Avast on one of my machines after the AVG
free bin file problem.
Now I've decided to reinstall AVG free after removing Avast.
, I cannot, under any circumstances, remove this program
from my system and I can't stop it from running.
When I shut all the Avast components down and tried
uninstalling it, I got an error message. I then tried
manually removing the program, including all the files in
the application data folders. Everything went but the
program files folder and the registry key.
I'm pretty good at doing this sort of thing; so I'm really
stumped. Any help would be appreciated.
