http://www.EmpowermentZone.com/dirsetup.exe Version 2.2 Released February 21, 2007 Modified the installer so that assignment of the system-wide hot key for launching FileDir, Alt+Control+F, is optional. Uncheck the appropriate setting to prevent the assignment. A FileDir shortcut on the Windows desktop is still created. Adjusted the optional JAWS scripts so that the top item in a directory view is reliably read by the SayLine command, JAWSKey+UpArrow. This command is also more succinct since it no longer announces the position of the current item in the list, e.g., saying "eleven of 27." If such information is desired, press the dedicated JAWS command for position information, Alt+Delete. The same query is performed by FileDir's Percent Through command, Shift+5 (%). Made the dialog for choosing a folder (e.g., when copying or moving files), return to the edit box if an invalid path is entered and you choose not to create it. To cancel the dialog instead of specifying another path, press Escape. Since FileDir is a Multiple Document Interface (MDI) application, Control+Tab cycles to the next open window, Control+Shift+Tab does the reverse, and Control+F4 closes the current window. As before, F4 is an enhancement to pick an open window from a standard ListBox. Additionally, the Windows Open command, Shift+W, lets you hear the titles of all windows without changing focus. Duplicate keys have now been added to support FileDir operations from the numeric keypad: Alt+RightArrow to go to the next window, Alt+LeftArrow to go to the previous one, and Alt+NumPad5 to say available windows.
