Sorry to contradict you, Ann, but that's not the actual CD
key. 

The CD Key comprised 5 groups of five alpha/numeric digits,
separated by a hyphen.

I have no idea where the number is actually stored on the
system, but if you obtain Belarc Advisor from
http://www.belarc.com (free download) it will tell you what
your own key is.
