[guidedogchat] over excitement

hi i am just looking for a bit of advice as to the best thing to do. when my
parents come to visit callie gets way too over excited. my parents have been
taking us for free runs lately so she associates them with that. i don't always
know they r coming to visit so they can just turn up. so just wondering what
should i do when they arrive should i put her on the lead and get her to lie
down until she calms down? put her in another room or put her to bed until
she's calm? thanks i'd b grateful for any advice.
