They only put weight on if you give too many. I was told once or twice a week is OK, but Wren just uses hers as a toy till she feels like eating it so I dont give them often.

Hi everyone I did give my first guide dog raw hydes but I have been told bydifferent people that they can put weight on the dogs and to much can hurt the dogs. So I haven't given my last three dogs them. I do use other bones. I make sure that they are strong and that they can not eat them up in a short time.
