OH god, dont talk to me about the seeds stuck in the fur thing, its burrs, the
little green balls, they are the bane of my life having a dog with long fur.
She gets smothered in the bloody things!!!!

Looking around the internet, opinion seems to vary about whether omega3 has
any real effect on shedding, although this chap thinks that there may be
positive effects on the dog's health anyway from using it.

Id'd be inclined to ask the vet about your dog's dry skin problem, and it
could be that oils like omega3 would be helpful.
My dog is shedding like there's no tomorrow, and it's gone on later this year
than last year. Being a golden colour, his shed fur is very noticeable on the
carpets! It's also the start of the seed pods getting caught in fur season, so
he gets plenty of grooming at the moment!

I havent but a Vet once told me that a drop of corn oil in their food can
help and I did try that and it seemed to work well. that was with another dog.
But shedding is a normal thing to be happening at this time of year, my flattie
is shedding more this year than I've known her to. I'd checkw ith your Vet
before messing about with such things, just in case.

their food can cut down on shedding and help with dry skin which callie suffers

are other models from £3 to £10. Some are dual Slicker and bristle brushes.
