Pam, I don't groom my dog as often as I should, maybe once a week, but he's a shepherd, and I get lots of hair off him, I do use the firmanator, but don't use the other brush much, I do have a slicker brush, that when you brush the dog, there is a little handle on it, that you can squeeze, and all the hair comes off the brush, it's aneat thing, Don
