We have dog parks in Winnipeg. I only would use them in the presence and support of a sighted person. This is to ensure that there are no altercations with other dogs with less responsible owners as well as to either direct me towards any poopies made by my dog, or get it themselves. I do avoid any self-assumed dog authorities; the control and handling of my dog is my responsibility, and mine alone without do-gooder interference.

Small area is specifically made has wood chips and is fenced, few seats bins etc. Large dog area is proper woodland with trees, stumps etc. We have visited it once with great fun and eyes, otherwise I would not have known it was there.
